Is it true that the more you hate, the more you love?

There is a song entitled " The More You Hate, the More You Love." It is a very lovely song, and my mind keeps asking if it is true in real life. I have not experienced loving someone I hate. I loved someone, and he betrayed me, and my love for him was replaced with hate because of the pain and insult that it caused me. Perhaps there is another explanation for this in an imperative and emphatic way. I am waiting for your share of love experience.

@RebeccasFarm , I experienced it, I loved someone, but he cheated me, and the love was replaced with rage of hate, irreparable.

They co exist with each other. Specially if it's a one sided love, it can get the person deep into the dark.

I don't think so. Perhaps you will have the hatred feeling for some time, but won't be forever. I still think the feeling shall be full of sadness.

@youless, , it is true, and it is also impossible to love someone we hate to the bones because of betrayal. Betrayal is one cause of murdering a lover.

Loving is very good, be happy but take it easy because disappointment hurts so much
