I won't be able to cover all of what the President would report. But so far it's all promises. But very much different from the last Administration, no bitterness in the statements.
But the flood projects was not mention again. I think it would kind of insensitive since the people suffered floods this entire week alone.
Who ever made his speech deserve a raise. Or did he do this on his own?

I didn't watch the full SONA. I turned on the TV and after that the News explained SONA. I can see that full of promises in our country didn't improve because the prices of basic commodities is still higher compared than before

Hello @cabuyogty I didn't see any twenty peso rice in our market. But then I was told that you have to be a member of 4P's to even purchases. Well, they are choosy, focuses on the poorer.

I wasn't able to watch the SONA yesterday because of a few errands. I might watch it when I have the time.

I’m honestly not that interested in what the current president has to say—I’ve never really been a fan. But to be fair, I did notice that his speech felt more composed and respectful compared to what we’ve gotten used to in the last administration. At least this time, I wasn’t cringing or rolling my eyes the whole way through.
That said, it would’ve been more meaningful if he addressed the real situations people are dealing with right now. After all the rain and flooding we've experienced just this past week, I kept waiting for some clear plan or acknowledgment of it, but nothing came up. Missed opportunity, I’d say. Still, whoever helped craft that speech did a much better job tone-wise. It was easier to listen to, even if I wasn’t fully sold on the content.

Hello @rsa101 They were still missing in his speech though. I didn't notice it until critics point it out. But that's a lot of promises, not sure if they would also focus on those not mentioned.

@Letranknight2015 I suppose it all depends on the speechwriter and the president, whether they consider the unmentioned topics a priority in his speech. I still hope those issues matter, even if left unsaid. It would have been better for people to hear it directly from him, but ultimately, it's his decision not to bring it up.

@Letranknight2015 Just hope that he looked more into the welfare of the people's life. He also need to do a lot of good to help to reduce his father's sin. I am very surprise that the countrymen even support him to be honest knowing fully who his father is.
