The Apple Tree of My Late Wife!

My late wife loved gardening. She used to plant flowers, veggies, and an apple tree in our backyard. Two years before she passed, her one and only apple tree bore lots of fruits; then it suddenly died! We believed it was an omen of her passing.

A song entered my mind when I read your title.... Maybe you are familiar with it... " See the tree, how big it's grown But friend, it hasn't been too long It wasn't big I laughed at her, and she got mad The first day that she planted it Was just a twig"... May her soul rest in peace...

@rakski Not really! Being alone is sad. Yeah, I have my 3 sons and a daughter and their families. But I still feel sad .. especially when alone in my room.

That memory carries such quiet depth. It’s as if the apple tree, after giving all it had, simply let go—much like how your wife lived fully and then moved on with grace. There’s a sense of harmony in that, a natural rhythm of things coming to fullness before returning to stillness. Moments like that remind us how everything is connected, and how even small signs can carry deep meaning. Thank you for sharing such a peaceful, tender part of your story.

@antonbunot Yes. I know there are some places here where they can plant apple trees but I haven't seen one.

She did plant this apple tree quite well. I haven't seen an apple tree that can have so many apples.
