The second wedding

As I posted in my last discussion, my son married at a young age, so their wedding was just a civil wedding (judge); however, after several years, they renewed their vows and held a church wedding complete with military honors. Their kids were secondary sponsors.
We also honored them with a cultural presentation. My family belongs to the cultural minority, hence, we had native dances.
The photo above is of my son and his wife.

You're fortunate that your son's choice to marry her turned out to be a good one, as demonstrated by his determination to uphold their marriage vows. I believe this type of relationship doesn't always succeed, especially when marriage is entered into hastily and without much thought.

@JenaisleThat is good to know; perhaps that is also what your grandson perceives in hindsight, recognizing the achievements his parents attained when they were young. I think you should use that story to illustrate that such fate and enduring love do not persist for everyone in the real world.

That's wonderful. What a great picture. May they have many more years of happiness.

How awesome is that!
What a great day that was, I'll bet.
Under a Sabre Arch. Such a grand display. It gives me goosebumps.
My wife and I had only a civil ceremony with just my best friend as best man and her best friend as maid of honor. We were married by the minister from her church.
A beautiful photo

Thank you. It was a grand celebration, especially the folks at home who were also proud of their 'son'. I wish I could share pics, but I can share one pic of the tribal dance during the wedding.
You and your wife are blessed to share a wonderful moment like that with some close friends.

We don't have any second marriage in India. Teenage children are not allowed to marry now. This is illegal in India.
