Cat Sitting, Day 03 - Saturday (8.02.25)

So, as I said in the previous post, my headache was gone by Saturday morning, so hoo-rah lol! I had no plans to go out, so it was just me and Guppy. It was fine, though. I mean, he hissed a few times on Friday, I think, but he’s still not 100% used to me, even though I’ve watched him before lol. I also understand he’s not as social or cuddly as my cats. He prefers his space, and that’s okay (though he did rub against my legs the day before… so I gave him a few treats lol). Anywho, I got him fresh food and water, then made my breakfast and coffee. I think I had mini waffles. Then, I couldn’t decide what to watch, so I wound up putting on the Big Brother 27 feeds for a bit. At some point, I ate lunch, but it was a few hours after eating breakfast. I just don’t remember WHEN I did everything. I also eventually did a load of laundry. I cannot remember when I switched it over, but at some point, I was waiting for either the washer or dryer to get done when I put on The Dick Van Dyke Show and conked out for a while. I woke up a little after 5 pm, and I don’t even remember what I did. I think I just continuing to lie there for a bit, trying to fully wake up. I was tired. But at 6 pm, I put on WWE SummerSlam night 1. I ate dinner and snacked a bit during it as well. It was a good show. I’m pretty sure I grabbed my laundry at some point after the show. My friend has a really nice bathtub, so I soaked with some Epson salt for a bit, then I got ready for bed, and packed up a few things that I wouldn’t need to use anymore during my stay. Theeeen, I did some journaling, filled out my planner for this week, hopped on my phone for a few minutes, and hit the hay. All in all, my Saturday wasn’t a bad day, and I don’t think Guppy hissed at me at all. If he did, it was maybe once, and I don’t remember it. Okay, I need to get back to work. It should be an easy day, but I need to focus. I’ll be back in a bit.
