Cat Sitting, Day 04 - Sunday (8.03.25)

I didn’t get the chance to continue with yesterday’s posts, so I’ll do that today. I still need to add a picture of my new planner to my one post, but I'll do that one later. I overslept a little on Sunday, but not by much. I did the usual morning routine and then put one final load of laundry in the washer. I also cleaned and straightened up. I did dishes, took out the trash, swept, etc. I did this the last time, too. I’m not about to leave my friends’ home in any other condition. I also made sure Guppy had everything he needed. I put on a movie (Lady Bird) and packed what I could, and finished packing once my laundry was done. My best friend and her boyfriend showed up sometime between 3:30 pm and 4 pm, I can’t remember. We made a pit stop at Walmart (I grabbed stuff for lunches for the week), and they dropped me off at home. My anxiety shot up on the way to Walmart, so that wasn’t a good time at all. There’s not always a rhyme or reason for it; sometimes it just shoots up. I was so happy to be home at that point. I even got some doggy cuddles. I unpacked everything but my clothes (they’re clean, but I didn’t feel like putting them away) and lounged until WWE SummerSlam (night 2) at 6 pm. I felt better, and I enjoyed the show for the most part. Afterwards, I got back into my nightly routine and hit the hay. So, overall, cat sitting went well, and I’d do it for a third time.
