Well, I finally caved and paid the Disney+/Hulu bundle for the month—which means one very important thing: King of the Hill is BACK, baby. I’ve been waiting for this since I first heard it was returning. I love King of the Hill. It’s not loud or vulgar. It doesn’t rely on weird gimmicks or punch-you-in-the-face nonsense. It’s just... real. Real-ish. Like if your weird uncle had a Texas accent and deep thoughts about propane. And let me tell you, it’s such a comfort to see that the vibe hasn’t changed. The kids are grown now, doing their own thing, but it still feels like the same old show. The art style? Untouched. Still that charming "we drew this with a steady hand and a strong cup of black coffee" look. We’re only on episode two, but so far—thumbs up from me and Peggy Hill. So yeah, that’s what’s on our TV tonight. What are you watching? And is it also giving you warm fuzzy "Texan suburb nostalgia" vibes, or is that just me?
