Dinner is officially done—leftovers are waiting for their final destination in the fridge, just as soon as I summon the energy to move. There’s a load of laundry hanging out in the dryer from earlier, silently judging me. Will I do another load tonight? Probably not. But… maybe. (Translation: I’ll think about it for two hours and then decide Future Me can deal with it.) We’re watching King of the Hill and I just caught up on notifications here. Next up: dragging out the ol’ planner and pretending I’m going to be super productive tomorrow. Otherwise? Not much going on. One kid is at his girlfriend’s house, the other is playing a game on her phone and has already submitted her dinner request for tomorrow like she’s placing a custom order at a 5-star restaurant. So yeah, that’s my wildly thrilling evening. What are you up to? Something equally glamorous, I hope.
