If you are not lazy, plant!

Many clamored for the high cost of commodities, but no action was taken to remedy their problems. Instead of looking around, finding ways to solve the problem, why not focus your look on your ground. See! the vacant lot, plant there vegetables like cabbage, moringa, spinach, celery, okra, squash, or string beans, and spices like spring onions, garlic, tomatoes, and more that your hands can afford to manipulate planting. See the beauty of your garden after some weeks surrounded by butterflies or worms if you can't control the pets lol. If you have the guts to do this, then you have glory. Keep on planting more to eat more, free from your cute farm.

I love planting things, unfortunately I don't have a garden. I can only grow little plants in my balcony.

@cacay1 Oh... That's is not a garden. Just a small space for the plants. You know the balcony won't be large.

@cacay1 Yes, I can, but I don't have a green thumb, but I'm thinking now if I would give myself a second chance.

I used to have a vegetable garden... I usually plant during summer because during rainy season, the plants die in my garden because rainwater stays there since it's a rice field before...

@brokenbee, at least you also have passion in gardening. The feeling is nice once we see our garden booming.

During pandemic I planted bitter gourd... I also made organic fertilizer out of overripe mangoes from our backyard, also called FFJ or fermented fruit juice... I added that to the water when I water them in the morning and the result, the bitter gourd was a little sweet, not too bitter...

O, yeah! My late wife’s hobby was backyard gardening. Tomatoes, red bell peppers, and strawberries were her favorites to plant. Me? I just go to the nearest grocery stores! Hehehe!

I have grown fruits and veggies and am planning to grow more next year. It’s true people complain about the price of these things but rarely these days start to grow their own.
