Yes, I know I'm posting a lot tonight. But this is the first time in a couple of days my head hasn't felt like it was trying to launch itself into orbit, and I actually have a little time to be online and interact like a semi-functioning human. If that bothers you… well, here’s a wild idea: just scroll past. Revolutionary, I know. ?? Anyway, I finally made myself a plate before putting the leftovers up for the night. I didn’t eat earlier when we got back with the food because—fun fact—I threw up several times right before we left. So my stomach was in full-blown “we’re not doing this” mode. But it’s calmed down since then, and I figured I should probably eat something before my body files an HR complaint. We’re watching King of the Hill (as one should), and hanging out with Rebel. And by “playing with Rebel,” I mean we’re gently encouraging her to acknowledge a toy’s existence. She’s never been much of a “play” dog, but every now and then she gets this spark of chaotic puppy energy and we all act like it’s the Olympics. I just snapped a photo, so I figured I’d share it here. Ignore the bed—it needs changing, and Rebel brought half the backyard in with her. Honestly, it’s more sandpit than sleep zone right now. ??
