I went to get the mail, and the weather didn't feel to bad. There was a slight breeze that seemed to cut down the heat. Anyway, I went to the mailbox and came back. The only thing in my mailbox was something from the city of Petaluma telling me I needed to renew my certification for paratransit eligibility by the end of the month. The only reason I even tried to get Paratransit eligibility was to get to the Daycare one the Coast Guard base when I had that ridiculous job. At first, I was told that it was allowed to go up to where I needed to go (as the Daycare was about two miles into the base) but later I was told it wasn't. I've since forgotten all about it until now. That was an awful job anyway. Letting the Paratransit eligibility expire is not going to hurt me any. Oh well. As there saying goes, "At least there weren't any bills!" Hope you got something pleasant in your mailbox today!
