I was involved in politics for most of my life. I was a member of a Party and worked on laws, policy, etc. I was behind 'closed doors' so knew what the public didn't. The Other Party was in Power and the Prime Minister had certain actions done. We, the Opposition, received a call from Senior Members of that Party which begged us not to do anything or say anything as the Prime Minister would resign or be resigned; (the actual language used is NSFA). The information we received was confidential. On my way home I stopped at a friend's house. He and his wife were drooling supporters of the Party in Power. They knew no one, nothing, but would boast and brag as if they knew something. As I arrived they began defending the actions the PM had done, going on and on in voices of certainty. I said nothing. I let them make idiots of themselves and left, laughing all the way home. The next day the PM resigned. I didn't bother to stop at my friend's house to hear their explanation about what they didn't know. I recall this event when I read the nonsense MAGAts post.
