I play my first FF series with the VII. Then I played VIII, IX, X, X-2, XII also play the IV, V, VI remake version. I played them all, but in my opinion I like Final Fantasy VIII most. I love the cut Scene when Galbadia hit Balamb Garden and the war begin!!!! (although some of my FF maniac friends told me that it's the worst). How about you? which one do you like and why?

Well, same here, a gamer also. :D :D I either like nor dislike Final Fantasy series, but I love RPG type games like that. But, hey, you are right. I wonder why many people like Final Fantasy that much, even there are many better RPG out there. :D :D

It's definitely final fantasy 7. The story line, its awesome. Unexpected. (you know what -the end of disc 1) hehe. Also the multiple choices of answers that lead you to different girls to date with. :D Collecting stuff that is missed, and secrets, fighting big weapons. So much to play again Then there's Chrono cross. Also, the unexpected storyline. (if you played, you know - the lynx part) So cool. First ever being made into RPG. Not to mention the multiple ending. That made you played again and again. The only downpart is the chronocross magic was kinda dissapointing(if u r able to release it on the final boss). FF8 was okay, but still they put alot on graphics than on the story i think. Tht's y ff7 gets movies, and sequel :)

Yeah, I agree. I'm not quite fond of Chrono Cross battle system. It's creative and unique, but I just think they should keep up with the old Chrono Trigger battle system. FF8 is okay, but personally, some 'things' spoiled the storyline. For example, the incidents where the characters start sleeping here and there and dreaming, I think it's kinda stupid. And using the excuse "equipping GF made us forgotten some of the memories" is very lame. Come on, they should've come out with something better for that plot.:D

Final Fantasy is one of my favorite RPG series of all time. I have played IV and VI on the Super Nintendo when I was young. I was so addicted to it. Then VII came out on the Playstation. It was so revolutionary during this period. I stopped playing video games as I moved to University, but I rented the X recently but hadn't had time to beat it though. I have played all the others but for not long as it was most of the time tested at a friend's house. I plan to buy XII soon in order to catch up. As for my favorite scene, I haven't forgotten the Opera one in VI. I still whistle the song sometimes even after 10 years.

Story-wise, I prefer Final Fantasy 7 over all other Final Fantasies. =) As for gameplay and replay-value, nothing beats Final Fantasy Tactics. It is a PSX game but I'd play it over say, FFX.. =)

I played finial fantasy 7 the most of any of the final fantasy series, simply because it had to most content/ hidden extras you dont just find anywhere else in the other ff games. Though I have to say Final fantasy 8 was alittle harder to get into but it had nice cut scenes and some really cool music in it. I didnt like ff10.2 at all. Even being a girl myself it was just way to girly for me. I've lost interestin FF games since then till now the new FF7 game that just came out, however i dont like it either even though ive waited all these years, i just cant play shooter games, which sadly is what it is.

I really liked FF7. It was the first FF I played and it was really interesting to me. It was very long and had a lot of customization as well as a very good story line. I also like FF9, it was really good and the characters in it were good as well. I liked "Trance" and its storyline was pretty good as well.

I'd have to say Final Fantasy 7. The characters are easily remembered. The gameplay is superb. The story is awesome. Running in second place would have to be Final Fantasy Tactics simply because of the diverse job classes and the storyline. Plus, I love tactical strategic games.

I've been playing the FF series since the very first one came out on the original nintendo years ago. (Still have the original too!) Kind of difficult for me to pick a favorite though. Each one has unique qualities that you can only find within that game. If I had to, VI would be my favorite for that storyline alone. And VII would be my favorite for the continuing story. Gotta love how that one has evolved! But each one has a story within itself that is irresistable. Maybe that's why I've never strayed from RPG's in the last 20 some odd years!

I like to play final fantasy tactics because of the different character classes involved in the game. You can change jobs from this game from the basic soldier, wizard, archer, summoner, etc. For me the best job is the summoner which can summon powerful beasts to aid your characters or give damage to enemies.

My favorite Final Fantasy game would have to be Fianl Fantasy X-2 because I really love Yuna, even though Tidus is only at the end and in only two endings. Yuna has to be my all time favoirte girl out of all Final Fantasy girls. I like it even more because you control an all girl team which is even better. The dress spheres and grids is so coll like dressing up your characters and getting powers for doing it. I have yet to complete it yet, but very soon I will and start over to try and get the perfect ending so I can finally see Tidus.

Final fantast has made many remakes, Final fantasy 3 is comng out in DS, it should be great but i think that the original is the best. Hmm, Final fantasy 8 seems to have the best starting FMV compared to all series!!!

7 and 10 Definitely. I liked 7 because of the story, because of some of the characters and because of the fighting system as well. And same reasons for 10.. though (don't kill me for this), I didn't really like Yuna's voice.. I believe the Jap seiyuu is better than the English, certainly. But I loved the aeons, the overdrives, the amount of gameplay you can put in and well.. the simple fact that it was my first PS2 game! :)

I love VII. Its the first in the series to actually look like people. I like it because it is 4 discs and you dont beat it so fast. I have played all the FF games. The one I least liked was IV.

ff8 was the best. no doubt. with the lionheart and all those rinoa, zell, irvine squall. their abilities were the coolest. comparatively,i think ff9 sucks.
