Back from my errands, and now I'm having a pretty late lunch.
I went to the post office and sent things, but of course I was still way too early for my appointment by the time I had walked up the block and across the street to the Health Center for my appointment.
I sat in the hall for about an hour and a half reading, so I made good progress on my book at least.
The reason I went was because my right knee, which is supposed to be "mildly osteoarthritic" felt like it was going to give out or go the opposite direction it was supposed to when I was walking. Once I did see the doctor, who wasn't my regular one, I really liked him. He let me see the computer he was looking at with my records, and told me that he wanted to schedule an MRI so that they could see what was going on in there (previously, I had only had an "ultrasound" of my knee). He also prescribed me Naproxen. I may have to go to the health center again this week to get it.
I was glad to talk to a doctor who made me feel like I was being listened to. That's rare these days.

I hope you get it all figured out and know what is wrong with your knee.
