many people are now spending most of their time online. some can go for hours without any breaks or food. like some of us here who spends more time surfing the web than interacting with real persons. is this a present problem now? or is this really a problem?

Well if isn't Mylot, it is Myspace. If it isn't Myspace, it's E-Bay. If it isn't E-Bay, it's AIM......the internet is very addictive and I think this day in age we are all screwed!!! Go back 50 years.....by then just about everyone had a phone...but tv was new. But no computers, pagers, cell phones, or anything like it. Could you do your job with no Internet or cell phone? These days probably not....

LOL yes, I agree....as for me I do spend way too much time on the internet. But mostly here on Mylot as I am really trying to generate alittle bit of a second income.

you're right. we are now really dependent to computers. and i see no harm in it unless you cannot control the urge to use it eventhough you know it will be harmful to your health already.

i'm online - i'm online
nah! i'm not yet an addict although internet is really addicting, like when you are here in mylot. it's really fun to earn what you really need most like me, hahaha! i can be online for about 6 hours with breaks of course, i don't want to have eye strain hehehe. i only stay that long using the internet when i'm doing my internet jobs in typeinternational because that would be my only time doing it, and some important stuffs but probably stuffs where i can earn like here in mylot (i became so greedy, lol!) but i don't spend much time chatting and surfing none essential things in my life and i'd rather sleep than doing those:) actually i don't really interact with so many people because i'm a SAHM, I can only speak to a maximum of 10 persons a day here in our home that's why internet is really a big help for me but don't worry i'm not an addict lol, maybe those who plays online games like Warcraft without earning nothing!:)

I have seen people post things like they have stayed up the last three nights or people that can go hours without a break. Personally, I need to get up and away from the computer every hour.

I dont think this is a problem. It's all about time management and knowing your other priorities and responsibilities.

you have a point there. but when you consider it an addiction that means you are totally out of control about it. i hope not a lot of people have this as a problem (",)
