3 years 11 months and 27 days there or about. They promoted me to corporal and I still think is this a screw you? No, I think they really liked me but understood where I came from and just how I am. They promoted me so I could do guard duty one last time. I could run the show. Corporal, E-4 is nothing in other branches but in Marines, it can get you booted out if you do not listen toa E- 4 It was very interesting and new guys just snapped at attention, old guys do what they do, you getting out right. Why they give you barracks duty? It was the last of the training I think. Marines did me proper and while I hatted it at the time it was a full circle moment. All the things they taught me and why they do what they do. Its pretty neat when you have good leaders who just understand what you need. I look back and am very thankful for that moment. You just need to grow up more son,, we wish you the best of luck and thank you for what you did with your time here. Maybe tell someone that, but it will make you soft.
