What do you think about prescribing mood-altering drugs to kids?

Pills - Picture of a pill. Often, drugs are prescribed to young children to help control behavior. Are drugs the only way to help the children? Or are there other alternative routes to take to "help" our kids

Children are often prescribed drugs that are supposed to make them "fit in" or behave like other kids. I know there are some serious problems that can be helped by drugs, but I think in many cases it is wrong to prescribe drugs that mess with the brain's chemistry. Maybe there are other alternative ways of dealing with things like ADD without drugs? What do you think.
