Colloseum - a memory

It was just a name to be read in Roman history, a mention is also made in the works of Shakekspeare, the speeches one reads that were delivered there - an amphitheatre build eons ago The student forgets it
But this student did not During my Europe package tour we were taken to this spot where the Colloseum still stands. I was mesmerized.

We did not get a guide but bought a book when we went there. And we stood in awe for a long time there while guides with lots of people came and went and the tourists just had time to take a photo.

What we learn in a school or college and then think of it as mere history but get a chance to see it in person - how can I describe that experience?!!!

@allknowing You said it right. I am sure that I will take a lot of photos and try to learn more about it. Perhaps it will be a good content as a blogger or even as a vlogger.
