Europe is Plentiful With Outdoor Cafes

United States

It's really cool how there are so many outdoor cafes throughout Europe. In our travels in the Capital Cities of the Baltics, they were plentiful in the tourist areas. We outside every chance we got. Of course in Europe it wasn't blazing hot and humid which made dining outdoors so much more comfortable. It's just such a different vibe eating out on the street, don't you think? Picture I took of an outdoor cafe in Riga, Latvia.

My grandfather had an outdoor cafe in Belgium before he immigrated to Canada. He also had a small farm. Between the 2 he had no time for his family and the cafe wasn't as lucrative as it could have been.

Too blazing hot here, about 10 out of 12 months a year.

@looeyville Now you know why I love Europe so much. It’s so relaxing if you chose to be that way, with loads of stuff to get off your butt to do if you so chose. I choose the cafes. I can sit for a lot longer on the terrace of a French cafe than on a plane.

I don't care for the direct sun and the bugs. Without the insects I could handle it.
