That's a Wrap.

It’s officially after 1 a.m., which means it’s time for me to admit defeat and call it a night. Today I managed to crank out two loads of laundry, wrangle some of the chaos in our room, and tackle a few other random “this has been staring at me for weeks” chores. I even got semi-caught up on a few of my smaller freelance projects — you know, the ones I swear I’ll “knock out real quick” and then somehow forget exist until midnight. Tomorrow’s Saturday, which thankfully means no alarm clock screaming at us. I do have a few things on the agenda though: random errands, a grocery run, and probably convincing myself not to spend money we don’t actually have on snacks we definitely don’t need. But if I stay up too late tonight, I know how this will go — tomorrow will be me, wrapped like a human burrito, contemplating life choices from under the covers until at least noon. I had something else I wanted to say, but my brain just clocked out without warning. Been up since 5 a.m. and I’m starting to feel like a phone running on 2% battery with no charger in sight. Anyway, hope everyone’s weekend starts off on a good note. I’ll be around tomorrow — assuming I don’t sleep through half the day and forget what day it even is.

This week is special as I thought that I do not need to have my alarm but my wife told me that we will need the alarm as she will need me to be there with her for her tooth extraction.
