We have had birds, cats and dogs in our life and watching them I have noticed they do things instinctively. Right from the day they are born there are things they do that amaze
These birds that you see in the photo have had a swim in the birdbath They are now up on a branch preening their feathers. Tiny as they are they know what to do after a bath
I could write a book on my observations - cats, dogs and birds.

They are likely biologically predisposed to perform those actions. It becomes second nature as they grow up, observing their parents and naturally following in their footsteps. Sometimes, they inherently possess the ability to do these things, much like birds learning to fly simply by watching their parents. Other times, a natural instinct or urge compels them to act in this way.

But who taught the parents in the first place?

@allknowing It seems more like a preprogrammed system. When we were babies, we couldn't stand or walk, but as we grew, we naturally developed the urge to stand and walk, inspired by observing our parents. It appears to be second nature, reinforced by our parents encouraging us to take those first steps. However, even in the absence of parental guidance, it seems likely that we would eventually find ways and develop the innate drive to stand and walk over time.

There is so much I see - even the flora does things on their own Have you seen a tree bending where it can get the sun?

I'm shocked at how well nature is understood. Everything is by one's own instinct, nothing learned and nothing copied. I really support you on that. You could perfectly write a bird watching book.

Thank you. I am a nature lover and keep watching everything that comes my way - cats, dogs birds, trees, flowers. Even the flora takes their own decisions.
