It is all about Trump wanting to make up with India, and this after saying what he said about losing India to Russia and China.
As a President of such a prestigious country this kind of U turn is not called for.
I wonder if he will go back on his tariff saga and limit it to 25%

He has gone senseless. He doesn't know what he is doing and saying. He wants India to bow down before him. LOL... What a joke! Mr president, don't think twice but think multiple times before doing this. We have reached a point where without India the world is nothing.

May be now he will put a condition wanting India to sever connections with Russia and China to get back to the old tariff

@allknowing Then he will have to keep waiting for the rest of his life. In between there are other developments, other alliances taking place and India will move on. And Trump will still keep blackmailing us over the Russian oil purchase.

My understanding is India get cheap oil from Russia in return to break the trade embargo. But now they are mixing that oil with other oil ,not from Russia, and so selling it to Europe and others as non Russian oil, therefore getting around the embargo
