This week has brought of mixed emotions and to say what we as a community are experiencing over the fires is painful would be an understatement! Tuesday over a short span of time we had storms that brought something like 12,000 lightning strikes , sparking sever fires, one of those fires the 6-5 fire destroyed much of the town of Chinese Camp! But before we knew of the destruction, we realized some of our Church Members were not far from one of the fires, including M, after trying for over an hour she finally returned my call as well as those of all concerned and assured she was okay, thank the Lord. Wednesday we ran a couple ot quick errands in the morning and then came home to stay out of the smoke , and Thursday M and I went to the tea house to have tea and a treat while we went over some Bible questions she had, so I delved in and did my best to answer the questions! Yesterday was a trip down the hill, where my Mom, and I took Sandy down to get her meds, unfortunately though the air quality was worse down there! Thankfully now most evacuations warnings have been lifted though those living in the path of the 6-5 fire especially in the areas of Chinese camp are still under Mandatory evacuation!

There have been so many wildfires in several states and Canada. I hope they get under control quickly.

Those fires are terrible, I had friends who lost homes in the Eaton fires in Altadena, California. I wish all safety.
