Does anyone have any ideas of a beautiful place to get married? We have set a date, but just not a place. We want something beautiful! Location is not an issue! Please help!

The Precious Moments Wedding Chapel in Carthage, MO. Not only is the chapel fabulous but you can arrange to stay in teh Victorian Mansion...which is absolutely incredible. You can check it out here: http://www.preciousmoments.com/content.cfm/wedding_island

By the way, I should have attached a photo to my response. I am attaching a photo from us in the courtyard of The Bombay Club. The owner let us use the courtyard for free, although we did have dinner there afterward. The Bombay Club was an awesome place, excellent food, and excellent atmosphere. We didn't know what to expect going into all of this, but everything lived beyond any of our expectations. Jim

Dang it, I forgot the photo again!? It must be late. :) The picture doesn't do this neat little courtyard any justice, but thought I should try anyway. Hope it helps. Jim

Thank you very much. It turned out to be beautiful, I have many more photos. After the elopement, we stayed a few more nights and just had a great time! The few days after cost more then the elopement itself. :) Jim

How about Southfork? There are some very beautiful weddings there, that's where I plan to get married. Here's the link: http://www.southfork.com/ And here's the link to a PDFA(Adobe Acrobat) document that has all the pricing informations, menus, etc. http://foreverlodging.com/filemanager_v4/foreverresorts_v4/1/119/items/7CDF22A6-C861-5692-3E37E279C24E2E60.pdf

HSBC - This is the previous company that I worked for before my current job. It is called HSBC and before that it was called Household and before that it was called Beneficial.
Congratulations on getting married in the near future. That is wonderful to hear and I would recommend Hawaii as a place to get married. It is also a good honeymoon place should you decide to get married somewhere else.

Umm...If you like little chapels, Gatlynburg, TN is an awesome place. I think it's beautiful there & they have chappels everywhere. Just thought I'd give my input. :)

Gatlynburg is where I was going to suggest too. It is breathtaking. They also have honeymoon packages available, and little private cabins you can stay in. The mountains are simply gorgeous in summer or fall. It is an amazing place to visit, even if you don't get married there. When is the date? Oh, and by the way, the best to you and your fiance.

I would have it in Hawaii with only the immediiate family. Mom, dad, brother, sister, and grand parents. After the wedding we would have a couple of days in Hawaii. And then come back home to a reception. Perhaps have the wedding tapped so that everyone can watch it. At least a shorter version.

Well I don't know if you are looking for something cost effecient, but my wife and I were when we got married this year. We eloped in New Orleans' French Quarter, in the courtyard of The Bombay Club. We stayed for a total of 4 nights at The Maison Dupuy hotel. Everything went great and at just a fraction of the cost of a full blown church wedding. There is a lot of info on the web, we had great luck with www.neworleansmarriage.com, but that site doesn't appear to be up right now. Just search for New Orleans Wedding or Marriage if you're interested. Good luck, and remember to make the wedding for yourselves and not for eveyone else. Jim
