Normally marzipans are made using almonds But I have not liked the taste of almonds and always used cashewnuts
Cashew nuts are ground to a paste adding icing sugar, The paste is then divided into small portions to which clour and flavour is added depending on what one wants to make - fruits, vegetables, flowers, et al
Here is a recipe

We normally make it during Christmas time

Wow! Had you not mentioned, I would have mustaken most as real fruits in the picture. Must be time taking to make them so perfect and you would need skilled expert hands.

@allknowing Oh! I see. We make gujia for Holi. Now a days we get moulds for them. But I fondly remember how ladies in the house would sit with children in the afternoon and try those artistic folding. I was very good at it..
Even now, I use my hands, my younger one loves to help.

@arunima25 Actually attention goes for the taste and not so much for appreciating art

@allknowing I can’t put my finger on it, but perhaps it is the texture. They are certainly beautiful though. True art.
