"A holy Bath in Godavari"

"Godavari snan" is a holy bath, in the sacred Godavari River. This bath is particularly important during major festivals like the Kumbh Mela in Nashik and the Maha Pushkaram for every 12years, where thousands of Hindu devotees believe the sacred waters cleanse them of their sins
and bestow spiritual benefits. It can also be part of a daily ritual where one chants a mantra to invoke the blessings of the Godavari.It is "Our South Ganga".
I had my holy bath here.It is a wonderful experience.Water is so cool.passengers travelling in train over arch bridge were dropping coins in the river.And many country people are diving into the water for collecting them.Some others are busy in catching fish. Some are busy in their holistic rituals. So busy busy Godavari anyhow..Feeling blessed to be here today.

Yes, It is a nice experience too.I did holy bath in sea many times.more or less the same experience here also..But ,here it is still water.
