I recently divorced my husband and he is trying to make me pay for all travel related to visitation. the divorce papers say he has to pay his way and i pay mine. but he wants me to pay both. simply because he was ordered to pay spousal support for three years. he is threatening to stop. should I do what he says?

NO!!!!!! I wouldnt. you do have the court papers with reguards to this. Just tell him he will end up back in court if he does stop the support. that will probably cost him more. Just make sure all the I's are dotted, and all the T's are crossed. before you do. You will have the courts on your side. What is the distance between you two. meet in the middle and you each pay the way to the center point for visitation purposes.

No,don't do what he says. He has to pay spousal support . Plus he has to pay for his way to get the child. He is only trying to intimidate you in doing what he wants. Don't fall for it. If he fails to pay..he will be found contempt of court...after awhile he will the amount he will owe will add up. Which can land him in jail. If he fails to pay his way to come get the child...do not let him have the child...in other words...make him come get the child...than you will do the pick up. That is how my ex and I have papers set up.
