I have lost trust in lawyers after what our lawyer did with a few tasks that he was asked to perform
To give you examples he included the terrace area for calculating property tax. There is no payment for open areas and now we are paying more.
Then he resrvfes an area for a path btween two sections of our property. There are roads for access. There again we have work to do .
I can go on and on
And now this lawyer that the nuns have appointed was trying to skip a step that is requiried before transferring the property I brought it to their notice
For certain activities we cannot do anyting on our own but appoint lawyers and that is what we have to go through
What's your experience?

I had never dealt with lawyers before, except when I transferred ownership of my father's land to my name. Because this can be a difficult situation to deal with, I made sure that lawyers were the best people to handle it. So far, they have done their part and are just waiting for results, as it is now up to the government to act.

@allknowing I am just relieved that lawyers did everything if I would do it on my own l think it would eat a lot of my time and money.

@rsa101 Workwise I agree lawyers can do it better but they should keep the interest of the client over their own vested interests.
