Sometimes I think it would be great if Sabine Hossenfelder started covering Stupid Boring American Politics. But every time I bring up the subject, someone says, "Sir, wouldn't you get bored hearing her say, 'I give this ten out of ten on the BS Meter' every single day? Sometimes multiple times a day ((Like days when Dopey DonOld Trump says he ended 7 wars))? Casinos would have to stop taking BS Meter bets because all of them would be 10 every time. And hasn't Las Vegas been hurt enough?" I'm happy that you brought up hitting 10 on the BS Meter because it's a perfect segue to our next topic, which, coincidentally enough, involves Dopey and staggering amounts of brand new BS. When is someone, probably a judge, going to slap Dopey hard enough to get him to stop filing frivolous lawsuits? Here is the latest one, ((Trump filed a $15 billion defamation lawsuit against The New York Times and 4 of its journalists, (Article Linked Below)). A big part of the problem is that most people see a headline like that and think, "So what? He'll drop this one in a few days like he always does because he's deathly afraid of being deposed. Then it'll just be over." But that's just part of the problem. The bigger part is that simply filing these suits that everyone knows are going to fail costs the jurisdiction they're filed in a lot of money. They tie up resources and cause delays for people who don't use our legal system for insane publicity stunts. Besides that, the person or entity being sued has to pay lawyers to deal with the nuisance until it is dropped. Those expenses are often recouped via counter suits ((When he sued Hillary, it cost him $8 million and his poverty stricken Cult just sent him the $8 million, so it had no deterent value)) but what about the county? I would love to see a judge say, "I don't care that you stole another election and are technically the 'President.' These frivolous lawsuits are a pattern with you and I'm sick of it. So I am sentencing you to fifteen billion days in the county jail. That's one day for every dollar you tried to steal from the New York Times." Of course, some Soft On Crime Liberal Court would overturn it on these dumb grounds, "Just look at him. He's not likely to live until Christmas and you want to send him away for 15 billion days? NO!" This one is especially bad because it was filed in the Tampa division of the Middle District of Florida. Florida is a very poor and backwards state and it's run by toal idiots. The people of Florida can't afford this and they shouldn't have to pay it. With that in mind, let's go to last night to see what the Cosmic Universal Anthem Closer Look Of The Month Club Anthem Closer Look is for today. ************* 5 Signs the AI Bubble is Bursting Sabine Hossenfelder https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_L1JbzDnEMk ------------- Business Insider Politics Trump filed a $15 billion defamation lawsuit against The New York Times and 4 of its journalists By Kwan Wei Kevin Tan https://www.businessinsider.com/trump-says-suing-new-york-times-15-billion-2025-9 ------------- Trump Claims White House Ballroom Will Be Larger Than Planned Late Night with Seth Meyers
