The GYM...

I feel like there should be that dun-Dun-DUNNNN! kind of music after I typed that title. This was the first time I'd been inside that gym in the four years (ish) that I've lived here. I went to the office and one of the ladies helped me set up a PIN number to get in. She reminded me not to over do it and to rest in between, and I promised I would. I looked up some things on my phone too regarding first time weight lifting or whatever. All of the crazy equipment in there might as well have been like new technology to me, so I just went over to the rack of weights, picked the lightest one (5 pounds) and did sets of ten with it on each arm--waiting 20 seconds between sets--for half an hour. I hope that was the right thing to do. I also tried to keep my back straight because I read something about not slouching on my phone. So-o-o-o...that was that for today. There was no one in the gym but me, which was fine with me! Now it's 12:21, and I need to get some lunch. I hope that all is going well with you in your part of myLot land!

That’s a great start, Stacey. I bet you meet some more great people there too.

LOL---there was no one in there, for which I was kind of glad. I was afraid I would make a doofus of myself.

@xstitcher I would want my first time in the gym to be alone too, definitely!

Some of those machines are hard to figure out. We have a free membership through our insurance company.
