Happy Mahalaya. It's the biggest festival in your state. I am a big devotee of Shiva and Shakti. Navratri is very close to my heart.

thanks Arunimaji happy navratri and let me hope that devipaksh goes very well. I give sacred ganga water and sesame and offer prayer for peace for the departed souls including my father and ancestors on mahalaya.

@sathviksouvik We do the same, it's a Dat for pitru Shraddha, offering tarpan to our departed ancestors..Navratri begins today. Not celebrating the festival in big way this year as we would normally do as my brother in law passed away in August. Just carrying on with regular Pooja and some shlokas for Devi.

@arunima25 sorry Arunimaji about the demise of your brother. I love the navratri festival as the festive season continues and like bijoya dashami dussehra there is get together of friends relatives of everyone
