listion to your heart.what is your feelngs towards him.you also loves him or you was thinking he is your friend till he praposed you. If you also loves him then dont break his heart. give him love at the level that he loves you.

My childhood sweetheart turned out to be gay. But then again, so did I.
I think it would depend on our relationship at the time and if I had the same feelings for them. If we both felt the same way, and it was strong, I think it would be worth seeing what could come of it. It could just be the greatest love of your life.
