Will Trump Reintroduce Slavery?

The prisons are full of Trump's most despised race. They live and eat and get medical care out of the pockets of taxpayers.
Why not use them as slaves?
Many of the illegal aliens that were deported worked on farms. Will Americans do those jobs? They haven't for decades. So why not use prisoners?
Think of it...
Build a prison on a plantation, ship prisoners there. And make it clear that 'bad things' will happen if they don't work. If they try to escape they will be shot in the groin.
If they work well and give no trouble their sentence will be shortened.
They will be fed, clothed, housed not out of tax payers pockets, but from their own work.
Doesn't this sound like a Trump idea?

Very much his idea.
And somehow the word "Alien" promotes a sense of racial stereotyping.
And no, not all "Aliens" are bad.
Many try to enter US or Canada to escape ruthless lives in their native country.
There are many who try to desperately enter through overcrowded ships, boats, through Mexico etc.
Yes, criminals should be punished but any form of slavery is bad.
Too harsh treatment for one who did not deserve it would instead push that person(s) into getting into a bigger criminal mindset.
