flowering teas

anyone try blooming or blossoming tea? they are usually made using green tea and jasmine flowers, but come in all sorts of varieties. they are soooo beautiful to look at, and taste really fragrant, since most have flowers in them.

My favorite is white tea, but I like to try mixed teas. What is exact name for your tea?

oh, they have different names, but the general 'type' of tea is blooming, flowering or blossoming tea. sometimes it's called 'handmade' tea, as they are hand crafted and actually sewn together to form interesting shapes that keep their form even in hot water!

these are special shaped ones made to look somewhat like pagodas, but usually they are ball-shaped.
