Aaaah! It’s the first day of fall! My FAVORITE season! Just knowing it’s FINALLY here is enough to make me smile.
Unfortunately, it still feels like summer outside lol. But those cooler days will be here soon. It’s not uncommon for it to still be warm this time of year (in Maryland). I’m not ready for it to be super cold, but I’d be happy with it being in the 50s/60s, not the 80s/90s. But again, it’s not uncommon this time of year, and it’ll cool down eventually.
I also can't wait until the leaves start changing colors. I loveeee walking through our local park; the cool breeze and gorgeous scenery. It puts me in such a good mood. I'll attach a picture of a picture I snapped last year, so you can see why I love it so much. I'm hoping my younger sister and I can do our annual walk through the park on Thanksgiving. It rained last year, so we had to nix it.
With that said, I’ve decided to start my spooky movies now instead of on October 1st. I’m thinking of watching the original Halloween (1978) tonight, but I haven’t decided yet. I don’t want to watch it on October 1st; it’ll be on often during October, so I’d rather space it out. Like, watch it now and then again closer to (if not on) Halloween.
I’m also adding in some non-scary movies, like The Addams Family, Addams Family Values, and Hocus Pocus (which I might watch on October 1st). And I’ll definitely watch The Great Pumpkin at some point (probably multiple times).
After Halloween, I’ll move on to A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving, Garfield Thanksgiving, and Son-In-Law (because it takes place during Thanksgiving break lol). Yeahhh, that’s about it for Thanksgiving movies/specials, at least for me, lol. My sister and niece actually bought me A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving on DVD recently. I already own the Christmas ones, so I need to get The Great Pumpkin on DVD at some point.
Anyway, I’m happy it’s fall, because I love fall most of all!

I can hear that song now, "The Falling Leaves." However, here in Florida, I keep seeing palm trees waving in the breeze. I hope you enjoy the autumn, That is beautiful; I miss the autumn colors,
