Went for a walk, and it's 82 degrees already.
Heading back to my apartment, I stopped to say hello to one of the maintenance guys, who takes his break in his car. I was telling him about going in the gym, and how I only did curls with 5 pound dumbbells because I didn't know what to do with any of the other stuff. He offered to show me, so I took him up on it. I mainly meant the big thing people can do like four different exercises on in the center of the gym, but he showed me everything and told me what to do with them. As far as the thing in the middle, he showed me how to change it to different weights as well as what you did with each part--except for one part a young lady was using, but she was kind of showing me without knowing she was going to. I think I may try a couple of different things, as just using the dumbbells will get boring.
When I was nearly home, I ran into a guy who was parked in a spot in the front of my building and chatted with him for a while. He told me he and his sister and father lived in the two-bedroom building across the road from me (upstairs). I think I'd seen people coming and going, but never had the chance to say hello.
After we chatted for a while, I came back in. Someone called while I was talking to the neighbor, but I didn't answer because I thought it was spam (I didn't recognize the number). Sure enough, when I listened to my voice mail, it was some lady who said I supposedly went to their website about "final expenses". Mm-hm.
Right now, I need to go and fold/put away the laundry.
Hope you're having a great morning/afternoon/evening/etc. in your part of myLot land, and I will "see" you all later!

I think a lot of us missed a lot of people around us because we are too preoccupied with our job and activities.
Before when we transfer to a new neighborhood the new house owner will knock on the nearby doors to introduce herself and giving some ricecakes. We always do that here before, but now we do it so rarely now.
