Most in the plastic bags did not survive / myLot

The seeds sown in plastic bags that were exposed to rain many did not germinate They have all been now shifted under the awnings and seeds have been sown again I did not expect to rain in Spetember but it did and these were the consequences. I thought they were safe from the mongoose and the birds I will have to proivde a net for thee bags now once I see leaves. Gardening no doubt is interesting but there is hard work too

Growing a plant from a seedling is definitely a challenge. Since you have to keep everything in good condition from water, sun, and other factors. They begin in a very fragile state that is vulnerable to a variety of risks, including overwatering or a lack thereof, pests, and diseases.

I have done this several times and have been successful Thinking that the rains have subsided I sowed them in the open but protected from birds It rained heavily

@allknowing I know you’re good at doing this. But then we are at the mercy of mother nature if they would allow then to germinate or not despite the way you have done to make them grow.
