Need Ideas to Crochet

I really have been dying to get back into crocheting. It is difficult to decide what to start on for me because if I don't absolutely love the idea I am trying to create I risk putting it down unfinished and leaving it that way. I think maybe I should start with a hat or headband for my daughter. I don't have much yarn and the colors are limited. Maybe I should go buy some more. I am currently scrolling through a site I use to find patterns. They have so many amazing patterns for things that require WAY more than I have here. Do you prefer a crocheted or knit accessory like a hat or scarf? I love making hats but I have made some cute scarves too.
