What a day...

I caught the bus this morning after getting the English muffins at the store.
I went to the hospital to get my MRI, and long story short, I couldn't get it because somebody said I had a "programmable shunt" which evidently has metal in it. I don't, my shunt is made out of plastic, and it's never been programmable, and it certainly has no metal in it. Of course, they wanted proof of that, and I have none. The last time I had an operation to adjust my shunt I was six years old! Plus, any record of that likely would have been thrown out by my brother when he was redoing the house.
I got my little registration bracelet cut off, and went to catch the bus again to go to the Health Center.
Once at the Health Center I figured out where I needed to go, and spoke with a lady that I was supposed to speak to. I thought it would be a full meeting, but it was just getting me to sign stuff and be told that my first meeting with the worker would be towards the end of October.
After that, I waited around about an hour and a half (finished my book while I was waiting) and went to my other appointment in the Health Center. I had to wait another hour for the doctor (who scheduled/reccommended/whatever the MRI) to come in.
When he did come in, I told him what happened when I tried to get the MRI. He looked up some things said he would call the radiologist to ask him what exactly he saw. He also said that maybe I could get an CT scan on my knee instead. We'll see what happens.
On the way home I went to the bank to deposit the $50 I got for walking my neighbors' dogs, and then walked home from there. Before I actually came home, I went to the gym and did some "reps" or whatever you call it on one of the machines. It wasn't a full half hour--by that time my phone battery was nearly dead so I couldn't set the timer--but I can say I went to the gym.
After that, I went to get the mail, which wasn't much, and came home.
Now, I'd like to get something to eat.
I hope that all is well with you in your part of myLot land!

You enjoyed your day working out and depositing money you earned walking the dog of your neighbor.
