An important landmark in Jerusalem.

Today is a balmy 24 C day, a few clouds in the sky. The view is one of the reasons that I chose this apartment when we moved in. We face the north and on a clear day like today we can see even to the 2nd mountain range. As I live in Jerusalem, if you look to the left, it is inbetween the two communities you can see the gravesite of Samuel the Prophet. It has a mineret on it. Sometimes we go pray there. Are there any landmarks in your city? Post a picture!

That is so cool. I don’t think I have any of those to share. I wish I had a picture of the obnoxious sculpture looming over a city bridge. It’s a huge, hardly recognizable scissor tailed flycatcher, Oklahoma’s state bird. How the city decided to waste money on this is beyond me. Your landmarks are awe inspiring. Mine is worthy of rolling the eyes.
