I went around to some different places to see if they were hiring. One of them was the grocery store, where I got money orders to pay the rent, too.
Of the eight places I went to, one lady told me to scan something on a computer screen, and I have to idea how to do that, so I left. Two places weren't hiring, though one manager took my phone number. The rest directed me to websites, which I guess that I will check out.
While I was out running around it sprinkled on me some, but I'm just damp, not soaking wet.
Right now, it's 11:08 a.m. by my computer clock, so not time for lunch. I'll try going to those websites I was directed to to see what to do in the meantime.

Job hunting can be such a grind, but you're doing all the right things by getting out there. That QR code scan request is so common now, but can definitely be confusing if you haven't done it before. Hope one of those websites leads to a great opportunity!
