Cars and vans everywhere ….what a nuisance !

So my Mom collects me on a Wednesday and I spend a couple of days with her. Today she rang early and said could she come straight away as the road was getting busy with cars and vans and she was worried she either wouldn’t be able to get off the drive or she wouldn’t easily be able to get back onto the drive. I was up early and was ready so that wasn’t a problem. I’ve had a few extra hours with her. The situation is that the next two houses have got new owners and they are both having major alterations, building work done and so there are vans outside all day, every day. Then the owners come in their cars. Mom is fed up with having them always parking in front of her house and is hoping the work will be finished soon. Certainly at the moment the street looks more like a car park, than our nice friendly small cul de sac.
