Hey, hey, hey, I just finished my work for the day, so I want to post another Blogging Challenge. Today’s challenge is “goals for the 30 days.” However, I’m going to change it to “Goals For This Month” because I’m a few days late lol.
Also, I like Blogging Challenges like this one because you can repeat it each month if the answer changes.
Anywho, here are my goals for October.
- Enjoy the Halloween season. I don’t even have to spend a lot of money to do that. I can watch spooky/family movies that fit the season, listen to my playlist, watch the annual Lantern Parade, take the kiddos Trick-or-Treating, etc.
- Order my Halloween costume. I plan to be a dog this year. I’m keeping it simple this time around.
- Continue to try expanding my freelance writing. For example, I sent a proposal for a writing gig on one of the platforms I use (but with a client I’ve never worked with before). Plus, I want to become active on another writing website (it’s not for clients) again. On another note, I need to plan, write, and submit short stories for a publication. It’ll take a while to hear back, but I still need to get the ball rolling.
- I’ve created a writing website with my portfolio and published work, contact, and about me page. It’s not 100% ready, but it’s getting there. Once I feel comfortable enough, I’ll put it more out there. While I know it’ll take time, I’m hoping to reach more clients both on and off the writing platforms. Once I have this set up and ready to go, I’ll work on the publication thing mentioned in the previous goal. One thing at a time, or I’ll get overwhelmed and not accomplish much of anything.
- In completely other news, our annual Book and Drink Swap (Secret Santa) is on November 1st, so I need to get my recipient's gift. First things first, I need to send her an anonymous message through Elfster because her wishlist isn’t updated lol.
- I need to start exercising more… again. I keep falling out of it, but I need to stop doing so.
- I really need to get my sleep schedule under control. I was doing alright for a bit, and then I slipped up again.
- Get my flu shot and blood pressure re-checked. If not this month, very early next month. For my blood pressure, it wasn’t too bad, just a little higher than usual, so I needed to make some changes to my sodium intake.
So, those are my goals for this month. I’m not going to stress over them because whatever doesn’t get accomplished can be moved to the next month. Well, minus the Halloween-related goals, but I’m already working on them, so it’s okay lol.
Do you have any goals for this month? If so, I hope you meet them! :)
Alrighty, it’s time to shut the laptop down for the day. You all have a great weekend, stay safe, and take care. :)

Keep working towards your goals- writing, Health, peace of mind.
And may be keep coming back here more often with your life Tales!
I do have goals, lots of them but challenges as well.
Sometimes there seem to be a big big tussle between them!
