When surprise good things happen, I always think of what my pastor growing up used to say: "Praise the Lord, and pass the ammunition!" I was sitting here at the computer, when the phone rang. I have been expecting someone to call and I knew it would be from a number I didn't know, so I answered. To my surprise, it was a lady on the other side of town, saying she saw my ad for dog walking, and could I possibly come over tomorrow and meet her dog. I was so (pleasantly) surprised, I kept "fumbling" my words, but she sounded nice. She wanted me to check the bus schedules to be sure I could get there. I did and called her back. Tomorrow between 12 and 1, I'll be heading over there to meet her and her dog.
