I did not know too that the two incissors (teeth) of the upper jaw of the elephant grow into tusks. The picture shows a baby elephant with no tusks and a mature fully grown elephant with tusks - one among elephants with the longest tusks in Africa.
Reports have it that the elephant that had the longest tusks they measured 11.5 feet.
Do you have anything to share?

I’ve only encountered elephants through zoos and videos, so my knowledge about them is as deep as a kiddie pool. All I know is that they’re basically the skyscrapers of the animal kingdom. These brainy giants can team up with humans like a farm animal on steroids, doing all sorts of tasks. And let’s not forget their circus gigs—apparently, they’re the ultimate performers, wowing audiences with their tricks while probably wondering why they’re not getting top billing.

@allknowingIndeed, they need our protection for their species to survive here. I hope we, as humans, will strive to preserve their natural habitat so they can continue living freely in the wild.

@rsa101 Sure they do need protection and space. Unfortunately human activities are really affecting wildlife!
