Nice Rain

Yesterday and today we had rain. Yesterday was a light calm rain. Today was a REAL rain with thunder. I ran out of cobs, so I emptied the loose corn into the box the Kitty food came in and put a few small pieces of my White Cheddar Cheez It Snap Chips. Well...Buddy came and looked at the corn..smelled it and went back up the tree. So, I took the corn and put it out on the ground. I thought maybe he smelled the Kitty Food on it. Well, he came back, but still wouldn't eat it. So I threw him a peanut and while he was gone to eat it, I went and took the Chips out of it. Eventually he came and ate the corn. I left and went to Walmart..I bought some Grapes at Walmart, and put 2 out in the birds' Cafe, and 1 on top of the corn that was left. Later when I went outside After the Rain...the 2 in the bird section were gone, but the one on the corn was still there. So I guess all those videos of seeing Squirrels eating grapes were wrong? LOL Or maybe MY squirrels have never had any and have no idea what the heck they are. I bought a roasted chicken for supper and made mashed taters and corn with it. Tomorrow night we will be having Chicken and Cheese sandwiches on my Wonderful Garlic Bread...I can almost taste it now.
