Calls from bank's toll free number

I frequently get calls from a toll free number that is supposed to belong to my bank.
They keep asking for information and I refuse to oblige It is shocking that this is a scam call. How they use a bank's toll free number is not understood.
I wanted to learn more and did some search and I was right The number looks so real as if belonging to the bank but it is not.

@allknowing I get those calls too, using bank’s number, but I know my bank wouldn’t call me - the write to me if necessary so I just have fun with the scammer and tell him all about my diarrhoea and ask if he can help me.
