When those irritating things build into frustrations, I find myself reaching for dark rum and raisin chocolate with a strong black coffee. A bad day always gets better after roast chicken with mashed (pureed) potatoes and gravy.

Mac and Cheese! When I get sick, I always want mac and cheese. Nothing added to it...just mac and cheese. Even though it does not make me feel better physically. I do feel comforted!

I guess it has something to do with when you were growing up.

Seven layer bean dip, Nachos, Mac and Cheese, S'mores, Chili, Chocolate, Cake, Pancakes, Pies, Cool Whip, Ice Cream, and Hot Chocolate!! Just to name a few. They only make me feel better for the time that I am thinking about it, about to eat it, when I am eating it, and after I eat it!!! I sound like a pig. That's alright though...I like FOOD. :D

Homemade biscuits or pasta dishes are my comfort food. I always go for the high carbs food. I guess because I ate a lot of those when I was a child.

I am a vegetarian person. I like rice, chapattis, salad, curd and vegetables. This is my routine food. I don’t like fatty and junk food also.

Comfort foods are my favorite! Soups especially. Homemade beef stew or chicken and rice soup. Mashed potatoes and gravy. Pinto beans and cornbread. I love all that stuff.

Sometimes it takes awhile for my comfort food to fill that void...there goes a whole chicken again
