This is a Jamaican saying. Donald Trump is the best example of it. During his first term, due to his ignorance of trade, he provoked China which ceased to buy soybeans from America. Trump didn't know that China bought most of America's soybeans. As difficult as walking across the street to another market, China bought from Brasil. There was no difficulty for China. One would think that having made that gaffe he would be a bit more aware that he knew nothing about world trade. Nope. As the standard Stupid person he never learns. He is sure he knows everything. Hence, the idiot tariffs that impact Americans. Aware how stupid he is, the world pretends those tariffs harm them. Anyone capable of doing the lightest research knows it doesn't. As America slides down the drain, totally unaware that his actions have cost the United States trust, respect and money, other countries, especially China rise. The destruction of America is all Trump.
