prepping on a budget

I have a very large pantry for about 3 months of food.
I'd like to do more, but storage space is a problem.
I also don't store a lot of water, which is also a small problem, but I live in an area with a lot of fresh water sources, and I have water filter systems.
My pantry is a rotating pantry that I use food from daily.
I save money by stocking up on shelf-stable foods when they go on sale or when I can otherwise get a good deal.
I save money on groceries this way, a lot of money.
Do you prep, and do you do it on a budget?

I have a budget for my grocery and try to not overshoot it. For foods with long shelf life, I too stock them up when I get a good deal or offer. And before making a list, I thoroughly check my pantry so that I don't let anything get wasted or spend on something that is already there.

I stuck up when there is a good sale. One store here has case load sales once a year and I stock up then.

I buy things when they are special offer, tinned and packet stuff.
